CALAMOSCHE BEACH IN THE WILDLIFE OASIS OF VENDICARI NOTO SIRACUSA
The Calamosche Beach is located between the archaeological remains of Eloro and the wildlife oasis of Vendicari.
In 2005 she was awarded the Blue Guide of Legambiente with the title of "the most beautiful beach in Italy".
It is not very easy to reach as you have to travel a long distance with the car and on foot; also for this marks a low number of visitors.
The charm of the beach is due to the variety of vegetation and the presence of a very varied panorama. The small beach is located between two rocky promontories that make the sea almost always calm. Another feature of the beach is the presence of numerous cavities and caves in the two promontories.
To get there just take the provincial road 19 (Pachino-Noto) and turn right (following the indication "Spiaggia Calamosche") about 11.40 km from Pachino.
